Astromech

We like going with the 501st to charity events and there are many children preset at these events. What better way to get them into the Star Wars mood than to have an astromech or two present. We decided to build three astromechs at the same time since it doesn’t make sense to only build parts for one.

I started just like everyone else. I downloaded the blueprints from one of the builders groups and started cutting parts from wood. I started witht the legs since they are probably one of the most complex pieces on this project.
